Oil for the Lamp

Beta testing

Help us test Oil for the Lamp before any pilot begins. Mentors, mentees and coordinators can all take part.

Available as a demonstration. Pilot invitations are made by coordinators only.

What the beta is

Beta testers use early versions of the app on iPhone, Android, Windows or the web, and tell us what is confusing, what breaks and what helps. You will mostly use the demo area with invented people, and a coordinator may invite you to try a real account later.

Anyone 18 or older who is a mentor, a mentee or a coordinator, or who would like to be one, may ask to join, whatever their faith or none.

How it works

  1. Request access with the form below.
  2. Read the Beta Tester Guide. Download the guide (PDF). The agreement itself is shown on the next step, after you request access.
  3. Sign the Beta Tester Agreement on this page, straight after the form.
  4. Print, sign and mail a hard copy at your earliest convenience.
  5. A coordinator approves you.
  6. You get your link: a TestFlight invitation for iPhone, or a download link for Android or Windows.
